Rooted Solutions (“Rooted Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a creative marketing and analytics agency based in Florida, USA. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to:

  • Our website, rootedsolutions.co (the “Website”).
  • Our internal applications that connect to Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Meta”) services, including the Facebook Marketing API, Facebook Pages, and Instagram, on behalf of our clients (the “Meta App”).

We use Meta data solely to provide internal reporting and analytics to our clients. We do not sell it, publish it, or use it for any other purpose. By using our Website or authorizing our Meta App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect Through Our Website

We collect limited information when you visit or interact with the Website.

Information you provide. If you contact us, fill out a form, or email us, we collect what you send, such as your name, email address, company, phone number, and message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use standard analytics tools, cookies, and similar technologies to understand how the Website is used. This may include:

  • IP address and approximate location (city/region level)
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, time spent on pages, and links clicked
  • Referring website or source
  • Date and time of visits

Why we use it. We use Website data to operate and improve the Website, understand overall traffic and usage, respond to inquiries, and protect against abuse. We do not use Website data to build profiles for sale.

Cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The Website will still work, though some features may not function as intended. Our analytics providers may also offer their own opt-out tools.

2. Information We Collect Through Meta Platforms

Our Meta App accesses data only from Facebook ad accounts, Facebook Pages, and Instagram business or creator accounts that our clients own or manage and have explicitly authorized us to access. We do not access personal Facebook or Instagram profiles of individual users.

Depending on the permissions a client grants, we may collect:

  • Advertising data (Marketing API): ad account, campaign, ad set, and ad details; spend, budgets, and bids; performance metrics such as impressions, reach, clicks, conversions, and cost metrics; and ad creative details such as copy, images, and video references.
  • Aggregated audience insights: summarized, non-identifying breakdowns such as age range, gender, region, device, and placement, as provided by Meta.
  • Facebook Page data: Page details, published posts, and Page-level and post-level insights such as reach, engagement, followers, and video views.
  • Instagram account data: account details, published media, and account-level and media-level insights such as reach, impressions, engagement, and follower counts.
  • Public engagement content: where needed for reporting, comments and engagement counts on the client’s own posts and ads.

We access this data through Meta’s official APIs, using data integration tools that sync it into secure, private data storage controlled by Rooted Solutions.

3. How We Use Meta Platform Data

We use Meta Platform data only to provide internal analytics and reporting to the client who authorized access. Specifically, we use it to:

  • Build private, internal performance dashboards and reports for that client
  • Analyze advertising and organic content performance, including spend efficiency, return on ad spend, and creative performance
  • Combine Meta data with the same client’s other marketing and sales data to measure overall marketing effectiveness
  • Provide recommendations to that client on their own marketing strategy

We do not:

  • Sell, rent, license, or trade Meta Platform data to anyone
  • Publish, display publicly, or make Meta Platform data available on any public website or app
  • Share one client’s data with another client
  • Use Meta Platform data to build profiles of individual people, re-identify anyone, or target individuals
  • Use Meta Platform data for purposes of discrimination, surveillance, or eligibility decisions such as housing, employment, credit, or insurance
  • Transfer Meta Platform data to data brokers, ad networks, or other monetization services

Access to dashboards and reports is limited to authorized Rooted Solutions staff and authorized representatives of the client that owns the data.

4. How We Share Information

We never sell personal information or Meta Platform data. We share information only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers. We use trusted vendors for cloud hosting, data storage, data integration, and website analytics. They process data only on our behalf, under confidentiality and security obligations, and may not use it for their own purposes.
  • The data owner. Reports and dashboards built from a client’s data are shared only with that client.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rooted Solutions, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. If Rooted Solutions is involved in a merger or acquisition, information may be transferred subject to the same protections in this policy.

5. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored in secure, access-controlled cloud infrastructure located in the United States. We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections, restricted access credentials, and access limited to authorized personnel who need it to do their work. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected parties of a breach as required by law.

6. Data Retention

We keep Website inquiry data only as long as needed to respond and maintain our business records. We keep Meta Platform data for as long as the client relationship is active and the client’s authorization remains in place. When a client ends the engagement or revokes access, we stop collecting new data and delete that client’s Meta Platform data within 30 days, unless the client asks us in writing to keep it longer or the law requires us to retain it.

7. Data Deletion Instructions

You can revoke our access and request deletion of your data at any time.

  1. Revoke access in Meta. Go to Facebook Settings, then Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites), find the Rooted Solutions app, and remove it. For ad accounts and Pages managed in Meta Business Suite, remove Rooted Solutions’ access under Business Settings.
  2. Request deletion. Email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” Include the business name, ad account, Page, or Instagram account involved.
  3. Confirmation. We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and delete the associated data from our systems within 30 days, then confirm by email once deletion is complete.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Website may link to other sites, and our services rely on third-party platforms like Meta. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle your data. We encourage you to review Meta’s Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Material changes affecting client data will be communicated to active clients directly.
